Mariah Carey has hit out at rumours that she is to have a circus-themed wedding.
The singer, who is engaged to billionaire James Packer, dismissed the claims during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday night.
The 46-year-old turned up late to the show, leaving the host to try and fill in the show until her appearance, but when Carey did arrive, she spoke about her relationship with Packer.
When asked if she planned on hosting a circus-themed wedding, she said: "No, that really made me mad. These people really want to tell me I want endangered animals at my wedding?
"I mean, I have several dogs. I'm such an animal lover and such an advocate for animals that I'm like, really, that's what I'm going to do, have like endangered species? Should I make coats from them all? What else should we do?"
She also referenced reports that she and her husband-to-be are not planning to have a prenuptial agreement in place, to which Carey quoted the song 'Gold Digger' by Kanye West, saying: "We want prenup! We want prenup!"
In January 2016, Carey and Packer announced their engagement, less than a year after they started dating.
