The couple initially separated in 2013 after almost four years of marriage. Kardashian had filed for divorce, but called a stop to proceedings last year after Odom was found unconscious in a brothel. At the time, she said the decision to continue with a divorce while her estranged husband was in a coma was distasteful, and added that by staying his legal wife, she could make medical decisions in his best interests.
Odom has since recovered, but there have been reports that he has since relapsed. In the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe admitted she was thinking of refiling for divorce, but she clashed with her mother, Kris Jenner, over the decision. She argued that her mum was spending more time worrying about Odom, than she was to her. Eventually, she spoke to her mother and said that while she wanted to continue caring for her former partner, there was no future for them as husband and wife.
Khloe admitted: "I love Lamar with all of my heart. I love, love, love him. I want the best for him. But I'm tired of feeling trapped.
"When I initially needed to file for divorce it was the hardest thing in my life. I never wanted divorce ever. I finally had the strength to do that and l I only took divorce off the table to help him.
"Now I feel I'm back to it being the hardest thing to do. I don't look at Lamar in a romantic way. I want to have kids and might want to be remarried one day. Lamar and I are not together. So I need to move on, and I will be filing for divorce very soon."
