Kardashian and Odom were married for almost four years before they announced their separation in 2013. The reality television star had filed for divorce, but called a stop to proceedings last year after Odom was found unconscious in a brothel.
At the time, she said the decision to continue with a divorce while her estranged husband was in a coma was distasteful, and added that by staying his legal wife, she could make medical decisions in his best interests.
Odom has since recovered, but there have been reports that he has since relapsed, and this is what is thought to be to blame for the breakdown in communication between the two, who are now in the process of divorcing.
A source is quoted by the publication as saying: "It was her decision. The times she went to see him recently, he was pretty messed up. She's sick of it. She feels like she's done everything she can and it's just ridiculous at this point."
Kardashian, 31, and Odom, 36, married in September 2009 – just one month after they met at a party.
