The rapper shared the news via her Instagram account on Sunday.
She told her followers: "Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him – it's become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to.
"I genuinely wish Nick the best. It's never easy to part ways with the person you planned you're entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page (sic)."
Responding to the statement, 31-year-old Young took to Twitter to say: "Single."
It is understood the couple's relationship was first in trouble in March of this year after Young was caught telling his Los Angeles Lakers teammate D'Angelo Russell about pursuing other women. The video was later leaked but Azalea and Young were said to be working through their issues. The rapper later admitted that her trust in her partner had been shaken.
Azalea, 26, and Young started dating in 2013. They announced their engagement in June 2015.
