A representative for the couple confirmed the news to the MailOnline.
In a statement they said: "I can confirm that Eddie and Hannah Redmayne have welcomed their first child."
The couple are understood to have welcomed a baby girl, named Iris Mary.
Redmayne, 34, and his wife tied the knot in Babington House, Somerset, in December 2014. In January of this year, they announced they were expecting their first child together. The pair have been in a relationship since 2012.
