Andy Murray Praises Daughter

Andy Murray has praised his baby daughter Sophia, explaining that becoming a father has encouraged him to work harder.

The Wimbledon champion became a father in February and has since spoken out about how becoming a parent has changed his life.


Speaking to OK!, the 29-year-old said: "Obviously having a child gives you a different perspective and it has given me an extra bit of motivation to work hard, train hard and do all of the right things to give myself a chance to win. I feel more motivated than ever just now."

Murray and his wife, Kim Sears, welcomed their daughter Sophia Olivia in February. The couple tied the knot in April 2015.
