In a black-and-white photograph, Sir Ben, who is an Olympian sailor, and his wife can be seen cradling their daughter. Land Rover BAR, who is Sir Ben's sailing sponsor, shared the image, writing alongside: "Congratulations @AinslieBen @OfficiallyGT on the birth of your beautiful baby Bellatrix #BringTheBabyHome."
The message was re-tweeted by the sportsman, who added: "#proudestday".
Georgie also tweeted: "Our little star has arrived. Here she is with very proud Mummy and Daddy... Bellatrix Ainslie. #bringthebabyhome."
Ainslie, 39, and his wife announced their pregnancy news in March. The couple have been married since December 2014.
