The pair have been married for just over a year and are currently planning a holiday together.
They have recently been forced to spend time apart due to their hectic work schedules.
Speaking to OK! Magazine Mark said: "It's going to be exciting because we've both been working for a good few months.
"I've been up and down the country and so has Michelle, so it'll be great when we finally get that time off - it's been a long time coming."
Mark's sister Jessica also recently denied claims the pairs marriage was on the rocks.
Mark continued: "Family are meant to do that. She didn't stick up for me but if she's asked something that isn't necessarily true, she's going to put it straight and say her side of it like we all would.
"She's just answering questions the way she believes things should be answered. The right way."
