Gary Beadle has admitted that it "still hasn't kicked in" that he could have been a father.
Earlier this year, Beadle's now ex-girlfriend Charlotte Crosby revealed that she had fallen pregnant with his child, but suffered an ectopic pregnancy. Crosby, who formerly starred in reality television show Geordie Shore alongside Beadle, then chose to publicly discuss the couple's heartache – despite an agreement that they would keep the news private. It is thought this led to their separation shortly afterwards.
Now, Beadle has opened up about the pregnancy, admitting that he was "devastated" to learn that he would no longer be a father.
He is quoted by Daily Mail Australia as saying: "It still hasn't kicked in. I was like sh*t. If it hadn't happened, I would have a kid. Obviously, I was devastated.
"I can't really say now what would have been or what would have happened... I would have loved it."
Beadle and Crosby dated on and off for five years, before separating for good earlier this year.
