John Legend Admits Marriage Has Changed

John Legend has revealed that the dynamic of his marriage to Chrissy Teigen has changed ever since the birth of their daughter, Luna, earlier this year.

Speaking to Entertainment tonight, the 37-year-old said that things for the couple are now different in their relationship, because of the additional responsibility that comes with being a parent.

He explained: "Well, it's all-encompassing too. You have to spend every moment, even when you are not with [Luna], thinking about who is with them, and what's happening with them, and making sure that everything is, you know, comfortable for them.

"Being married is not the same as having a kid because being married to another adult who can take care of themselves to a degree is different than having a kid that is completely dependent on you.

"So, it definitely makes you realise a heightened level of responsibility and it makes you realise that there is a lot of work to be doing, and you realise what your work is for."

Teigen, 30, and Legend dated for four years before they announced their engagement in December 2011. The couple announced in October 2015 that they were expecting their first child together. Their daughter, Luna, was born in April of this year.
