Earlier this week, a source was quoted by the Daily Star as saying the pair were dating.
However, 23-year-old Karius – who signed to Liverpool, Stephanie's hometown team, back in May – has now hit out at the claims.
Taking to Twitter he wrote: "It's interesting being linked with a person you've never heard of before."
The speculation that Karius and Davis were an item comes after the actress hinted that she had found love.
Writing in her OK! blog recently, she said: "There's been a lot of speculation about whether I'm dating anyone this week and I've not said anything. I haven't said yes or no to whether I've got a boyfriend or not.
"What I will say though, is just because I'm pregnant, it doesn't mean I can't look for love. If I meet the right person, it won't stop me."
David is currently pregnant with her first child. She claims the father is her former Celebrity Big Brother housemate and ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell; something he has denied.
