Helen Glover has tied the knot with Steve Backshall.
The couple married on a Cornish cliff-top at the weekend, with views of St Michael's Mount. Guests in attendance at the wedding included Judy Murray, Thom Evans and Jake Wood, as well as Glover's Olympian rowing partner Heather Stanning, who was also maid of honour.
Speaking to Hello! magazine on their big day, Backshall said of the ceremony: "Everyone has seen me bawling my eyes out on national television. I had to do all I could to not start crying again."
He added: "Although my job takes me away for months at a time, for the first time I realised I was no longer happiest in my jungle hammock. For the first time, it felt lonely. Meeting Hels, it all makes sense."
