The former Girls Aloud singer made the revelation during an interview with the MailOnline's FEMAIL.
Walsh, who is getting ready to welcome her second child with husband Justin Scott, said: "Motherhood is a lot harder than I realised. There's no off switch 24/7 and it changes your life but I am ready for it. Life will never be the same again – but in a good way, of course."
She added that becoming a mother has changed her outlook on life, explaining: "It sounds cliché but they [children] become your sole priority and it softens you and brings out your emotional side."
Walsh, 34, and her husband welcomed their first child together, Bobby, in September 2014. In June of this year, she confirmed she was pregnant with her second child.
