A source told Closer Magazine: "Katie's devastated she isn't pregnant and insists it's not from want of trying. The one thing she really wanted this year was another baby.
"She loves having kids and has made no secret of wanting more, so having all this speculation surrounding her with no exciting news to tell just makes her feel even worse."
The mother of five also recently announced that she has started the ball rolling to adopt a child.
The source continued: "Katie insists Kieran will change his mind and she's hellbent on having a sixth child."
