The couple started dating earlier this year, but separated during the last series of The Only Way Is Essex after Wicks was alleged to have sexted other women.
Wicks, 28, then tried to win his former girlfriend back by even giving her access to his social media accounts. Eventually, after a heart-to-heart, 24-year-old McKenna agreed to take her ex back and start their romance afresh.
Speaking to the Daily Star on Sunday, she explained: "Pete wanted me to have access to his Twitter on my phone to make me feel better but I don't need that reassurance any more. People can call me a mug for giving it another go but we are happy, in love and moving forward.
"Learning to trust him completely will be a work in progress, but I do believe he would never do that again or I wouldn't have taken him back."
