Niall Horan has said that men should always pay for dinner on 14 February.
According to reports, the former One Direction singer made the comments, insisting that he would pay for dinner for his Valentine's date.
When asked if a man should buy his date's Valentine's Day meal, the 32-year-old responded: "Always pay for the whole thing. Always."
However, the singer then admitted that he is less likely to buy his date flowers and chocolates to mark the occasion, explaining that some women would appreciate the gesture more than others.
He said: "It depends if you have any idea on what the girl is like. Some girls like it, some girls don't, so you kind of have to play it by ear."
