The 33-year-old actress recently starred in BBC drama The Replacement. In the series, she plays the character of Paula who is maternity cover hire for another woman. However, while the show may have sparked a discussion about motherhood, she does not appreciate being asked about children in interviews.
She is quoted by Grazia as saying: "If this was a bloke, that would never happen. It's none of your bloody business.
"You know, whether women choose to work when they have children, whether they choose not to, whether they do a bit of both, it's nobody's business."
McClure is currently in a relationship with actor Jonny Owen. The couple have been together for five years.
