The 68-year-old had recently confirmed that the couple were to marry and speaking after the ceremony on Saturday, the Dragon's Den star told the MailOnline: "It was a perfect family wedding and I was overwhelmed by how beautiful Nigora looked. Our wedding was filled with love, laughter and happiness.
"My new Uzkbek family are generous, caring, giving people and I am proud to be part of what is to me a wonderful new world. I feel very blessed and look forward to our life together as husband and wife."
His wife, 36, added: "I am so happy to have married my love, best friend and soul mate. It was the most wonderful weekend and sharing it with our families and friends made it complete. I am so proud to be Mrs Duncan Bannatyne."
Bannatyne and Whitehorn first met in 2011. The couple announced their engagement in 2016.
