Earlier this month, George and his wife Amal welcomed their first children together – twins Ella and Alexander – and now the actor's father, Nick, has said that George has a "different kind of maturity" about him.
He is quoted by Entertainment Tonight as saying: "Since the word came out that he was going to be a father, no question about it, he changed. This has nothing to do with age, but this is a different kind of maturity.
"When you figure out that you're going to take that standard responsibility that everybody else has done for years, and now you're on the merry-go-round. You're in the middle."
Clooney, 56, married 39-year-old human rights lawyer Amal in Venice in 2014. The twins are the couple's first children.
