According to the New York Post Page Six column, the actress has been secretly dating Mr Hutchinson who is senior vice president of Maesa – the company that makes Barrymore's Flower Beauty products.
A source is quoted by the newspaper as saying: "They were in Palm Springs for a wedding last weekend."
Barrymore, 42, was previously married to Will Kopelman. The couple, who divorced last year, have two children together; daughters Olive and Frankie.
