Charlotte Church Loses Unborn Baby

Charlotte Church has announced that she has lost her unborn baby.

The news comes just weeks after the singer, 31, revealed that she was expecting her third child.

Taking to Twitter on Monday evening, she wrote: "Charlotte and Jonny are very sad to announce that they lost their baby. Now is a time for grieving and being together as a family.


"We kindly ask everyone to respect that peace."

This would have been the first child for Church and her partner of seven years, Jonny Powell.

Church is already a mother to Ruby, nine, and eight-year-old Dexter from her previous relationship with rugby player Gavin Henson.
