The former CBeebies presenter revealed the news via social media over the weekend.
The 43-year-old shared a film trailer-style video which starred her two-year-old son Phoenix, from when he was born, to various moments over the last two years as he has grown. The video finishes, with a teaser that Phoenix will have to face his greatest challenge yet in early 2018, before it is revealed that baby number two is on its way.
It will be the second child for Honeywell and her husband Ayden Callaghan.
