Russell Brand has complimented his ex-wife, saying he has "nothing but love for her".
The comedian was appearing on an American talk show with Wendy Williams when he opened up about his 14-month marriage to the singer.
He described their union was a "very, very wonderful time" in his life, and that Perry, 32, was "such a lovely person" and that he has "got nothing but love for her."
Brand, 42, and Perry tied the knot in October 2010 but in December 2011, the 42-year-old Brit filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Their separation was finalised on July 2012.
In August of this year, Brand married Laura Gallacher. The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Mabel, earlier this year.
