Speaking to The Sunday People, the singer said that he is enjoying the privacy that comes with the couple's relationship, as well as how he feels more 'mature' in this relationship.
The 37-year-old is quoted by the newspaper as saying: "I like a person for who they are, not what they do or where they are from. The fact that she's not in the public eye means we get some privacy.
"We've been together over a year and it's very serious. She's my best mate and she makes me feel very mature."
Brian and Danielle were first romantically linked in September 2016 but it was another two months before he confirmed the relationship.
