'Vampire Diaries' Couple Announce Split

Phoebe Tonkin and Paul Wesley have separated after four years of dating, it has been reported.

The couple, who both starred on television series The Vampire Diaries, are thought to have split earlier this year.


Fans of the pair realised that something could be amiss in the relationship after discovering that Tonkin, 28, and Wesley, 35, were no longer following each other on Instagram.

The couple initially separated in March of this year, with sources claiming that the romance had "ran its course". However, the following month they were back together.

They first started dating in 2013, having co-starred on The Vampire Diaries.
