Billy Joel Welcomes Third Child

Billy Joel has become a father for the third time.

His wife, Alexis, welcomed a daughter on Sunday, but details have only just emerged.

In a statement to People, a representative for the singer said: "Sunday night, Billy and Alexis Joel welcomed Remy Anne into their family. Alexis and Remy are doing well and everyone is thrilled."


Billy, 68, and 35-year-old Alexis married in July 2015, having started dating in 2009. Their first child, a daughter named Della Rose, was born a month after the couple tied the knot. Billy is also a father to Alexa, 31, from his first marriage to Christie Brinkley.
