The couple met in June on reality television show Love Island and continued to date once the series finished. While they have said they are enjoying their time together as a couple, they are not yet ready to tie the knot or have children.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Cetinay said: "We're really happy and we know we'll be together for a very long time, but we just don't feel the need to jump into it.
"We still need to do the stuff at the beginning of a relationship, otherwise you might as well retire, get married and have grandchildren in the next 18 months."
His partner added: "Kem is a sensible boy and I know there's no way a proposal is coming any time soon. But if Kem proposed, I couldn't say no, because I know that I want to be with him and I know that I'm in love with him.
"I would have to say yes. But it's not happening any time soon! Give it two years."
