According to the publication Woman's Day, Joel Edgerton, 43, has already met Lawrence's parents – Karen and Gary – at a dinner in New York last month.
A source is quoted as saying: "They all met Joel at dinner... at one of her favourite restaurants, Cosme. She [Jennifer] gushed to friends the next day they all liked Joel as much as she does."
Neither Edgerton, nor Lawrence, 27, have addressed the romance rumours.
