Zara Sindall Opens Up About Miscarriages

Zara Sindall, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, has opened up on BBC Breakfast about her recent miscarriages.

Her and husband Mike, who have daughters four-year-old Mia and two-month-old Lena together, tragically lost two of their babies before they reached 24 weeks gestation.


Speaking on Friday morning, 07 August, she said: "It's very different for us because we're carrying the child, but for guys I guess it's kind of that helpless feeling, which must be incredibly hard and horrible for them. At the end of the day they've still lost a child too. Being helpless is horrible isn't it.. for anyone. So.. you know, he's... it's been a horrible road but, you know, actually now we've come out the end of it, hopefully it makes you a stronger family."
