Dani joined radio hosts Roman Kemp and Sonny Jay on the Capital Breakfast show this morning, (Tuesday) and was persuaded to trick her social media followers with a hoax engagement announcement.
She posted a picture of folded hands with a silver ring on one finger to Twitter, and wrote: "I said YES! My soulmate. I can't believe it."
The 22-year-old shared the news on her Instagram and Twitter, and later posted an apology to her fans. Host Roman also revealed it had been a prank, following immediate press attention and thousands of messages of congratulations.
The engagement trick comes weeks after Dani and Jack did progress their relationship by moving in together.
