Kate Hudson Welcomes First Daughter With Danny Fujikawa

Actress Kate Hudson and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa welcomed their first daughter Rani Rose Hudson-Fujikawa on Wednesday, 03 October.

The star announced the little one's arrival on Instagram and also told of their inspiration behind the newborn's name.


"We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie), after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa.

"Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honour."

The 39-year-old confirmed that they are both doing well and are "happy as can be".

The pair announced their pregnancy in April by sharing a video of the baby's gender reveal.

New addition Rani joins Kate's sons Ryder Robinson and Bingham Bellamy who came from previous relationships.
