The 25-year-old actress has Caben (21 months) with ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell, but as the model isn't in his son's life, Stephanie is grateful for her mum who helps out now that she has returned to filming.
Stephanie said: "It's not easy- but I'm starting to get a routine and a balance now. The long hours, I've put him in nursery because I'm on my own.
"But my mum's been a great help, I don't know what I'd do without her as she has him when he's not in nursery."
She recently reprised her role as Sinead O'Connor on the soap and is keen to bring Caben on set as many of her co-stars also have kids.
"Any mums who have to be in work early and get their children ready, can I have a few tips please?," Stephanie joked.
"I really don't know how I'm going to do it. This is hard, it's being a mum."
