Carey Mulligan Bombarded After Royal Wedding Yawn

Carey Mulligan received thousands of text messages after her husband Marcus Mumford was caught yawning on camera at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding in May.

The couple didn't expect to be on camera during the famous nuptials, according to Carey, so she was mortified afterwards when she learned the world had watched as her husband yawned during the ceremony.


Speaking to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, she revealed: "We were convinced that there was so many absurdly famous people that we were not going to be allowed on camera at all.

"Of course it finished and we were allowed to turn our phones back on. We have 15,000 messages going, 'Marcus you yawned on TV!'"

The 33-year-old actress said the pair joked about his faux pas later as they enjoyed the rest Harry and Meghan's big day.
