The 30-year-old star took to Instagram on Thursday 15 November to confirm the wedding was called off after rumours of John's unfaithfulness began to circulate.
Vicki posted a paparazzi photo of herself and said she as feeling "heartbreak" on a "physical" level.
The caption read: "The worst thing is not the lies, the betrayal, the constant pain or crippling humiliation, or the resounding heartbreak that hurts so much I swear.
"The worst thing is the person who made you feel so special yesterday can make you feel so truly low and unwanted today.
"As always, thank you for your warmth and kindness. I do not deserve it."
It is claimed that John, also 30, has moved out of their Newcastle home.
The former I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner had just wrote her first marriage column for The Sun newspaper days before the news of the split.
