A court ruled the star will not have to foot the bill for childcare costs for their 11-year-old daughter Shayla, while his wife runs "non-work errands" or does household tasks, according to TMZ.
The 39-year-old actor demanded that Norma keeps an itemised list of her expenses and how she spends her time, which the court refused to uphold, but did recommend that she "maintain a diary of time spent on work".
It follows the mother's claim that she needed seven hours of childcare one day in August as she was busy "living life".
The pair split in 2009 after two years of marriage.
Tyrese has previously insisted that Norma feels no obligation to work or contribute financially to raising Shayla, and would rather live off childcare payments from the actor.
