Mel has Phoenix with her first husband Jimmy and got divorced from Stephen in 2017.
In a post on Instagram she described her daughter as a "woman", writing: "When your baby girl is no longer a baby!
"You have grown into such a strong and independent lady, so brave and so courageous, I'm beyond proud of you my love.
"I know how important it was in my book 'Brutally Honest' for you to have your own chapter and your own voice heard, and you did it!
"You're such an inspiration to many others now to speak out, you're a true opinionated fighter."
