Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Back In India For Wedding Reception

Newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have returned to India to host another wedding reception, only two weeks since they first tied the knot.

The couple said 'I Do' in two separate ceremonies which took place in Delhi, the capital of Priyanka's home country, over two days at the beginning of December.

Although the actress and the former Jonas Brothers star returned to the US earlier this week, they hosted a second reception on Wednesday 19 December at the JW Marriott in Mumbai.

This week's event is believed to have been a lot more personal than the initial one, which was attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In videos posted on social media, the bride thanked her guests for attending another wedding celebration and her husband Nick for helping her start this new phase in her life.

She said: "I'm gonna take your attention for two seconds. It means so much to us that all of you came tonight. This has been an extremely special chapter in my life and I wanted my husband to meet all the special people who have contributed to it.

"So thank you very much for being here, friends of my parents, my dad who I know is here. Thank you very much for coming and I hope you have a wonderful time tonight."
