The pair wed in the 1992 movie and the actress revealed last year that it could, in fact, have been the real deal as director Francis Ford Coppola hired a real Romanian priest for the scene.
When asked about her comments, Keanu explained: "That's what Winona says...
"Yeah once in a while I'll get a text, 'Hello husband'. I didn't really believe her but the director of 'Dracula' contacted Winona and said publicly that yeah that actually happened the priest did a full ceremony and Winona and I got married."
The actor starred as Jonathan Harker in the film, with the actress appearing as his character's partner Mina.
They reunited in 2006 to play a couple again in 'A Scanner Darkly', and also worked together on 'Destination Wedding' last year.
