The singer's life has been extra chaotic since she welcomed her daughter Banks Violet Blair into the world in October, as she already has a six-year-old son Luca from a previous marriage.
She followed up her success with a triumphant message on Instagram: "Ok a few thoughts. Real talk this is the first day I had two kids on my own on a school morning.
"Breastfeeding and making breakfast, getting two kids and myself dressed and packed and out the door while tripping over four dogs and feeding the damn fish was not easy. But I did it. And I'm proud of myself!"
The former 'Lizzie Maguire' star has the three-month-old with her boyfriend Matthew Koma, and went on to praise other mothers for keeping their households afloat every day.
"I'm proud of every mom out there who MAKES IT HAPPEN. All day! Everyday! You are bad ass!"
Hilary also admitted that her feat required some careful planning the night before as she laid out clothes for the morning, but was still hit with a curveball when she found her son using lipstick as "warrior paint" on his face.
