New Encyclopaedia Focuses On Global LGBT History

Academic publisher 'Gale' has released a new encyclopaedia which focuses solely on LGBT+ history.

It is titled the 'Global Encyclopaedia of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) History' and claims to be "the first international, authoritative and academically rigorous reference title" that focuses on that part of the community.


It is compiled of three volumes of LGBT+ history and covers significant figures and events such as activism, art, literature, health and sociology.

Its publisher has promoted the educational text's unique selling point as its global perspective, and hopes it will be a useful source to those hoping to foster a dialogue and understanding of the LGBT+ community.
