The 39-year-old actor, who starred in DC Comics' Suicide Squad, and his 26-year-old tattoo artist wife allegedly parted ways last year but continue to be close friends, according to Us Weekly.
The pair keep their romance out of the spotlight, but wen 'The Talk' host Aisha Tyler referred to Cleo as his girlfriend previously, Joel corrected her and said "she's actually my wife".
He then revealed they had secretly married in Los Angeles.
"I'm a romantic guy," he joked.
"I took her to this very romantic place on San Vicente Boulevard called Same Day Marriage. That was it. This little Russian lady sitting inside there, she was like, 'Do you want to get married? $435, quick'."
Despite no longer being romantically attached, the pair have been spotted out and about with their mutual friends and recently attended a UFC fight.
