The 33 year-old-model, who is currently pregnant with her fourth child, thinks that having an independent life is the "secret" to a happy marriage. She has been married to footballer Peter Crouch, who is currently playing for Burnley F.C., since 2011. However, she has revealed that she believes having her own friends and interests has been the key to her happy marriage to Peter. She told The Mail on Sunday's You magazine that it is crucial not to be "with each other 24/7."
She said: "Although he's 38 now, so I think he'll have one or two more years of playing football. Then hopefully we won't kill each other being at home together all the time."
The couple currently have three children together: Sophia, seven, Liberty, three and one-year-old Johnny. They are expecting their fourth child later this year.
The couple took to Instagram last month to announce their news, with Abbey uploading a picture cradling her baby bump on a family holiday in Dubai, with the caption "when a hatrick just won’t do!!! #babynumber4."
