'The One Show' presenter revealed she welcomed the tot, who she has named Kit Thomson with her husband Charlie Thomson, last Monday and is enjoying settling into life as a family of four.
The couple also have two-year-old son Teddy, who has been "fantastic" and "really gentle" with his baby brother, Alex revealed during a live episode of the dinnertime talkshow.
The presenter also took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the newborn, posting a picture that shows her holding his hand while he sleeps.
"And then there were 4!!," she wrote. "Little Kit Thomson arrived safely and very speedily last Monday at 2.21am weighing a healthy 7lbs 3.
"Teddy, Charlie and I are absolutely besotted by baby brother and are enjoying this special time as we get used to being a foursome and generally breathing in that lovely newborn smell!
"A huge thank you to the midwives at the birth centre, Queen Charlotte Hospital for everything you did for us. #nhsheroes."
