The Jonas Brothers star wed Priyanka in December 2018 and told Harper's Bazaar that finding a match who works in the same industry as him works surprisingly well.
The 26-year-old explained: "Certainly the person I ended up falling in love with and marrying is very famous and successful and all of that. I couldn't have predicted that would happen, that life would take me down that path. The fact that she'd been working in this business for as long as I have, we could relate on that. I'm grateful to have found the right person."
The high-profile couple got together against the odds, with Nick setting aside his dreams of leaving stardom behind to live on a farm for the meantime. However the singer said the idea is still "very much in play" as a future possibility.
