The couple wed in 2014 and the 58-year-old actor spoke of his pride for his wife, with whom he has two-year-old twins Ella and Alexander.
George told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I can't imagine being more in love with her than I am, and I can't imagine somebody I'm more proud of."
The actor also hailed his children as "really funny and really smart", and said they are going to learn to speak Italian as they already spend a lot of time there as a family.
