The Emmerdale star confirmed the news in a touching Instagram post, however the baby's gender is not yet known.
Sharing an image with her followers, the actress wrote: "BabyWolf #3 has joined the crazy gang. We're in a bubble of newborn'ness heaven."
The couple, who wed just last year, already share sons Buster, 9, and Bowie, three.
Despite their post-birth bliss, baby number three hasn't been an easy ride as Matthew revealed the pregnancy had been brutal.
Speaking on Loose Women, he said: "Charley is a big fan of giving birth, but not pregnancy itself.
"Unfortunately, pregnancy for her has been brutal this time round. She's been ill from the get go and is still sick now."
The actor also discussed how the pair would love to have a baby girl. "We'd love a girl, but you know the old cliche, we just hope for a healthy baby," he explained. "We have a long line of boys in my family, so it's not looking likely, but who knows!"
