Duane Chapman's Broken Heart

Duane 'Dog' Chapman believes his recent hospital admission was due to a broken heart after his wife passed away.

The 66-year-old was rushed to hospital last week while suffering chest pains. Now he's in recovery, the star thinks his problems were partly caused by the grief he feels.


Doug's wife, Beth Chapman, sadly lost her battle with cancer three months ago.

He told Fox31 Denver: "It feels much better now. And I'm going through some psychological things right now too, so that doesn't help. I think, basically, I had a broken heart. And of course, it's going to heal."

The bounty hunter recently admitted he's lost 17lbs since Beth's death as he struggles to eat properly, but thankfully he believes he is on the mend again.
