A new mother, Meghan welcomed baby Archie in May of this year and has been astonished at how well her spouse has taken to fatherhood.
Commenting during a tour of South Africa on Tuesday, according to PEOPLE.com, the former actress said "parenting is the new strength that she and Harry are learning".
"She said, 'He's the best dad,' and Harry said, 'No, she's the best mum,'" a source told the publication.
The couple generally keep their family life away from the cameras, but had no issue posing with baby Archie and discussing their new role as parents while meeting locals in Cape Town.
"Our plate is full with a 5-month-old at the moment- so busy," Meghan reportedly said.
The couple then released a video montage of their royal tour via their Sussex Royal Instagram account, sharing exclusive footage of the tot from throughout the trip.
