The singer opened up about her relationship with the 'Live PD' and real-life police officer after they were snapped in New York's Central Park last week.
After years of keeping her love life out of the spotlight, Lana said of the photographs: "I didn't know we were being photographed. I would've worn something different."
She added: "It's funny because I was with someone for years and we never had that problem."
On whether she is bothered about the reaction from fans as she dates a police officer, the 34-year-old added: "Well, the thing is, he's a good cop. He gets it. He sees both sides of things."
Despite giving away hints of information, Lana doesn't want many details of the romance to be publicised.
