Dennis Quaid To Wed Within A Year

Dennis Quaid is planning to marry Laura Savoie within the next year.

The actor popped the question last month and revealed they got straight to planning the big day as he thinks it's important not to stay engaged for too long.

Asked if they have started wedding planning yet, Dennis told 'Entertainment Tonight': "I think she's looking at wedding dresses today. She's gotta get started.


"You've got a year, right? And if you go past a year without getting married, then you're suspect. That's basic etiquette."

The engagement took place in Oahu, Hawaii and the pair are planning to return over the festive season.

Dennis said of their Christmas plans: "I think we're going to go back to Hawaii. We had such a good time there before."
